We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Account Manager to join our high-performing regional team, focusing on key accounts in Italy. The Account Manager acts as the commercial link between customers and internal divisions, leveraging technical and commercial expertise to lead market growth within designated key accounts. The primary objective is to promote Renesas solutions proactively to generate new business and secure market share, aiming for comprehensive wins. You will utilize all sales tools, customer insights, and resources to develop strategies that accelerate growth faster than competitors. A deep understanding of customer product development and decision-making processes is essential. You will also drive and coordinate technology proposals with your FAE teams. Building trust and maintaining strong relationships with customers at all levels, including top management, is crucial. Promote Renesas products and solutions independently or with FAE support. Develop relationships across all customer levels and departments. Provide commercial support to increase revenues in Italy, collaborating with the account team and distribution network. Manage distributor relationships. Proactively drive projects from demand creation to mass production. Identify new opportunities by working closely with customers during project design phases to achieve design wins. Track opportunities, revenues, and designs effectively. Understand customer products, markets, and business needs, communicating these internally and highlighting critical product requirements. Analyze competitors within customer environments and develop counter-strategies. Travel within the territory to meet customers and distributors. Take ownership and act entrepreneurially to drive business opportunities. Qualifications We seek a team player with strong communication skills, curiosity, and eagerness to stay abreast of technological advances and customer developments. Sharing knowledge and experience is valued. Independent initiative, risk assessment, and entrepreneurial drive are essential. An engineering degree; prior sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of MCU/MPU, Analog, and Power Management solutions. Strategic and commercial thinking skills to plan and organize design-in activities effectively. Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
