About the role: We’re looking for a Senior Scala Engineer with strong backend engineering and performance optimization expertise to help drive improvements across our enterprise applications and underlying shared services. Key Responsibilities: Build and enhance backend services using Scala Lead performance optimization efforts across large-scale applications and services Proactively research and troubleshoot technical issues that could impact end user experience Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions Help onboard new technical resources by sharing best practices and tooling Qualifications: Proven Scala/backend engineering experience Strong background in system performance tuning and scalability Ability to anticipate and solve complex technical issues Curiosity to dig deep into problems and explore solutions Strong collaboration and communication skills
