About The Role ‍ As the Content Compliance Lead will be responsible for all regulatory, legal, and risk-related aspects of our operations globally. You’ll serve as a critical advisor to the leadership team, ensuring that Creator Collective runs in line with legal obligations and platform standards across every market in which we operate. This role requires both strategic vision and a willingness to dive into the weeds, as we build scalable and sustainable systems to support our mission and growth. Please note: this position is only available to candidates who are currently living in the Canary Islands or willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities: ️ Lead the development and execution of a global compliance framework tailored to a content-forward, creator-centric CRM platform with embedded Fintech and CRM functionalities. Own and evolve the platform’s Acceptable Use Policy, content standards, and internal enforcement protocols. Partner closely with trust & safety, legal, product, engineering, and customer experience teams to operationalize compliance across the entire user and creator journey. Proactively monitor and interpret emerging platforms, and digital services regulations relevant to our business model and adapt company policies accordingly. Lead and implement structured enforcement workflows. Serve as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries, audits, or issues with stakeholders, regulators, or external counsel. Drive regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure we remain proactive and prepared. Build a high-integrity, solutions-oriented compliance culture across the company. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience in compliance, platform governance, risk management, or trust & safety roles—preferably at a social platform media platform, fintech or creator monetization startup. Strong understanding of platform policy, content moderation, creator behavior, and digital product risk areas. Ability to build from scratch: you’re comfortable designing systems, policies, and workflows with limited legacy infrastructure. Excellent communication and judgment, with the confidence to advise executive teams on complex or ambiguous matters. Creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments. Willing to get hands dirty—comfortable rolling up sleeves and diving deep into operational challenges. Legal degree (JD or equivalent) is a strong plus. Experience working across international regulatory frameworks, ideally including digital content, digital payments, or data governance.
