The work we do building families offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time OR Manager to work in our busy San Ramon office. The schedule is working Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30pm with occasional holidays and weekends. Salary range: 170K to 180K How You'll Contribute: We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the OR Manager is responsible for: Helps to plan and organize Clinical Services responsibilities to increase staff efficiency and best utilize the staffs’ skills and abilities Helps to set goals for Clinical Services staff and motivates staff to accomplish the goals Coordinates the effective delivery of patient services by monitoring patient flow and program operations. Assists with the training and orientation of staff. Administers performance appraisal evaluations for clinical staff Assists in addressing and resolving day-to-day issues that pertain to clinical operations. Assists primary nurses with coverage as needed and monitors workloads Handles patient issues/complaints What You'll Bring: The skills and education we need are: OR/PACU Experience Valid RN License or willing to obtain upon hire. BS in nursing, healthcare administration, education, or business management required. Prior Supervisory/Management experience and demonstrated leadership qualities and activities required; 3-5 years preferred Ability to work well independently and demonstrate good judgment along with the ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team Knowledge of clinical procedures, program operations, computer software, and equipment.
