Toolroom Team Leader Location:Worcester Salary: Up to £40,354.20 (DOE) 16% PM Shift Allowance Attendance Allowance Orion is working with a leading heavy industrial manufacturing company seeking an experienced Toolroom Team Leader to provide technical expertise, leadership, and support within their busy toolroom. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong machining knowledge who thrives on problem-solving, motivating a team, and ensuring production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of three Toolmakers Maintain CNC and die casting machinery (or similar industrial equipment) Provide support to production, ensuring minimal downtime Drive continuous improvement in tooling and fixtures Fault-find and resolve issues in compact machinery Collaborate with senior management on toolroom operations Required Experience: Manual machining: turning, milling, grinding, bench fitting Stripping and assembling dies and trim tools Maintenance of CNC and die casting (or similar) machinery Previous toolroom experience within manufacturing Proven leadership and team management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Open to candidates from related industries, e.g. plastic injection moulding Qualifications: Apprentice trained or time-served Toolmaker Demonstrable experience leading within a manufacturing environment Package: Salary: £40,354.20 PM shift allowance: 16% (£2,640 per annum) Attendance allowance: £1,000 per year Holidays: 26 days plus Bank Holidays Benefits: Pension contribution, Death in Service cover Shifts: Double Days 6am2pm & 2pm10pm If youre ready to join a forward-thinking team please contact Jamie Garcia Courtice at Orion Electrotech, Aylesbury for more information.
