Job Description
Role Overview A dynamic and commercially-minded Senior Sourcing Category Manager is sought to lead the strategic sourcing and category management of premium components and finished goods in the decorative fittings space — including faucets, showers, sinks, and accessories. The role requires oversight of complex supplier relationships across Europe and internationally, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives, operational resilience, and commercial performance. This position is integral to delivering sustainable cost savings, driving supplier innovation, and embedding best-in-class sourcing practices across global and regional supply chains. It plays a pivotal role in elevating the commercial performance of a premium product portfolio within a highly competitive and design-led market. Key Responsibilities Strategic Category Leadership: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies that align with business growth, profitability, and resilience objectives. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain performance-driven relationships with international suppliers, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration. Commercial Negotiation: Lead complex and high-value contract negotiations, ensuring risk mitigation, commercial value, and continuity of supply. Risk & Resilience: Proactively identify and manage category risks — including commodity volatility, regulatory shifts, logistics disruption, and geopolitical impacts. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure sourcing decisions are aligned with product development and operational objectives. Continuous Improvement: Drive cost reduction, innovation, and value engineering initiatives while maintaining premium product quality and brand standards. Sustainability & Compliance: Support ESG goals through responsible sourcing, supplier compliance, and ethical procurement practices. Candidate Profile Essential Experience & Skills: 7 years in direct procurement or category management within a manufacturing or design-led product environment. Proven track record in complex supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing across multiple geographies. Demonstrated success in managing sourcing initiatives in matrixed or global organisations. Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement. Desirable Attributes: Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a relevant commercial discipline. CIPS (MCIPS) qualification or equivalent. Experience managing overseas suppliers and international supply chains. Knowledge of ESG and supply chain risk mitigation strategies.
