About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Associate supporting the CDF Operations team based in Singapore office. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojob.com Responsibilities - Accountable for the preparation and accuracy of the daily or monthly Treasury forecasting needs for the APAC Channel Finance legal entities. - Processing manual outbound payments to customers in the required currency, ensuring high degree of accuracy, in a timely manner and in compliance with all business policies and procedures - Ensuring direct debit inbound payments are correctly allocated to the customers facility in a timely manner and in compliance with all business policies and procedures - Interface and communicate with the partner banks to resolve issues, or inquiry, or cooperate with banks regarding Nostro account updates and other matters. - Timely escalation of any issues or concerns directly to APAC Cash Desk Manager - Collaborating with team, including but not limited to the Operations team to work through and resolve any issues. The expectation is that you take ownership to resolve those that are assigned to you, providing regular updates until successfully resolved - To complete reconciliation and reporting as required - Provide support and guidance to junior team members, to help build their knowledge and experience within the APAC Cash Desk Team - To provide back up support to other team members where required, including but not limited to cash forecasting, revision and updating of any procedures relating to cash desk - Be responsible for reviewing current risk and controls within current processes to ensure they are effective and identify areas for improvement that are communicated effectively to the Cash Desk Manager. To take responsibility and ownership to implement the required changes - Work with the Cash Desk Management team to support the development and implementation of all projects, including but not limited to testing of internal and external systems as required. Required Qualifications: - 6 months of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: - At least 4 years' experience gained in a banking environment or equivalent, with operational cash handling, accounts payable/receivable execution and funds management - Must be able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of the Chinese & Singapore & Australian banking systems - Understanding of other banking systems used globally is desirable - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel - Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal - Ability to work in a high functioning positive team environment - Ability to work under pressure and to timelines, with minimal supervision - Experience of working in a pan-Asia or global company would be beneficial - Flexibility to work on a public holiday if it falls on weekday to support other locations with compensation (low frequency / rare) Posting End Date: 30 Oct 2025 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
