Job Description

In this role, you will provide analytical, policy, or program implementation and administrative support, promote interservice efforts, integrate processes, operations, and exercises, and coordinate closely with colleagues. What You’ll Work On Advise on capabilities, limitations, and ways to optimally use Marine Corps forces and capabilities. Coordinate and synchronize current operations and future plans. Coordinate with other stakeholders, including DoD components, civilian departments, agencies, and intelligence communities, to scope requirements, develop strategies, and implement activities supporting the client's guidance. Analyze and report on complex foreign issues, initiatives, legislative matters, executive orders, agreements, and open-source and classified reporting. Engage with stakeholders to understand current capabilities, processes, authorities, policies, procedures, lessons learned, and best practices. Communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum, from Action Officer to General Officer or Flag Officer and civilian equivalents. Plan, manage, and coordinate all phases of engagement programs, including designing, developing, and executing workshops, roundtables, and senior meetings. Oversee event planning and implementation, including document development, participation, facilitation, staffing, and managing security and logistical requirements. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have 5 years of experience in European or International Security. Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder bureaucratic environments, including with DoD and interagency organizations. Knowledge of U.S. government roles, responsibilities, and missions related to international security, defense, military, and foreign affairs. Knowledge of US Naval and Marine Corps European planning interests and international partner efforts. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Nice If You Have Experience as a Liaison Officer (LNO). The projected salary range for this position is $86,800 to $198,000 annually, depending on location, education, experience, and organizational needs.
