JOB DESCRIPTION We seek a results-driven, detail-oriented Head of Operations with proven experience in luxury hospitality or wedding venue management to transform our day-to-day execution. This is a critical leadership role designed to free our founders to focus on vision. You’ll lead an undertrained but talented team, implementing scalable systems and elevating service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is an unparalleled opportunity to live and work in a beautiful Tuscan castle surrounded by nature, gardens, and an international team passionately devoted to creating meaningful, joyful events. RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Leadership Take full ownership of daily operations, removing founders from operational decisions. Manage all guest touchpoints and oversee event management with vendors and staff. Maintain rigorous quality standards and solve problems in real time. Team Leadership & Development Lead and train a diverse international team of 15–20 seasonal staff. Establish accountability, clear roles, and performance standards. Implement luxury hospitality training programs and reduce turnover through a positive culture. Systems & Processes Design and document SOPs for all operations. Optimize Notion, Airtable, Dubsado, and eliminate error-prone manual tasks. Ensure consistent service delivery with clear communication and scalable systems. Financial & Strategic Manage budgets and vendor contracts to hit a 25% expense ratio and €1M annual profit. Collaborate with founders on strategic vision and expansion plans. Track KPIs, guest satisfaction, and optimize operations for growth. REQUIREMENTS Essential Experience 5 years in luxury hospitality, wedding venue, or high-end event management. Managed 15 staff with a track record of elevating service standards. Implemented operational systems that improved efficiency and guest experience. Experience with seasonal businesses and multicultural teams. Leadership & Skills Exceptional leadership and decision-making under pressure. Attention to detail with luxury-level guest experience. Proficient in training, SOPs, and compliance standards. Excellent English; Italian is a plus. Technologically savvy and data-driven. Strong project and financial management; AI experience is a plus. Personal Qualities Entrepreneurial, resilient, self-starter. Passionate about meaningful hospitality. Willing to live on-site in Tuscany. EU passport or ability to work in Europe required.
