About the job Are you eager to take on a new challenge? We are seeking a Buyer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO). Reporting to the Commodity Manager in Procurement, you will manage a specific material group within areas such as Exteriors, Interiors, Electrical/Electronic, or Powertrain. You will be a key contributor to our procurement team, supporting the delivery of innovative technical solutions on time, with high quality and cost efficiency. Your role involves organizing supply chains, engaging with suppliers globally, and working on vehicle projects within a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities include: Leading price negotiations and award decisions through a global Bidder’s List Identifying and leading cost-saving initiatives, including supplier visits Scouting for new suppliers and innovations, focusing on economics and sustainability Analyzing market trends to develop acquisition strategies Participating in VW Group commodity meetings to align purchasing strategies Involving early in projects to define optimal technologies Utilizing the latest e-procurement tools Collaborating with cross-functional teams About you University degree in Engineering 4-5 years of procurement experience Automotive sector experience is a plus Fluent in English and Italian; German skills are a plus Strong negotiation skills Ability to manage complex supply chains Target-oriented with analytical skills What we offer Holistic Well-Being program Parenthood support Opportunities for internal employees Access to professional development programs If interested, please submit your application by July 22nd.
