Satellite System Engineer (Space, Aerospace, spazio, satellitare) (on-site)

We’re hiring a Satellite Senior Systems Engineer on behalf of an Italian aerospace company specializing in the production of small satellite platforms (from CubeSats up to 250kg platforms) and innovative products to improve the comfort of space explorers. Mission : The Small Satellite Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for satellite architecture, design, development, and qualification of small satellites. The activities will include (but are not limited to): Technical responsibility for system-level activities Coordination with the Program Manager, Unit Heads, and Subsystem System Engineers Generation of system engineering, design, development, and verification plans Definition and management of technical requirements and specifications Supporting mission and operations deadline definitions Management of system budgets Preparation of technical documentation for reviews with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers Review of technical documentation related to the system and subsystems Support for AIT, AIV, and qualification activities Support for NRB, CCB, and PCB processes Risk assessment support General Requirements Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering 5-10 years of relevant experience Flexibility and team-working skills Proactive and hands-on approach Ability to work under tight schedules Coordination skills for multidisciplinary and international teams Ability to analyze and report Proficiency in English; Italian is a plus Hybrid remote work possible (not full remote) Required Experiences & Skills Experience in satellite design, development, and qualification Understanding of satellite architecture and design Experience managing industrial activities and reviews Knowledge of aerospace standards (ECSS, MIL, NASA STD) Familiarity with NASA STD Experience with DOORS or similar tools Knowledge of orbital dynamics and analyses (STK or similar) Additional Assets Knowledge of Ground Segment utilization Frequency and spectrum management Knowledge of real-time/near real-time navigation Location : Turin (Torino), Italy J-18808-Ljbffr
