This engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring support for commercial opportunities through technical and customer-facing support. The role involves supporting regional drive centers, providing day-to-day support to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience, and bridging product management, engineering, and regional support teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage commercial product support Handle quotations and proposals Support segments and regions Coordinate bids Analyze margins and profitability Provide application engineering and technical support Enable and train sales teams Gather product feedback and support lifecycle management Collaborate cross-functionally Monitor performance and seek continuous improvement Build customer relationships and advocacy Travel Requirements: Minimum 25% travel, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings, with potential to increase. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in a technical field related to automation Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management Track record in business development within servo motors, gear, and motion control Knowledge of automation markets and applications Strong interpersonal skills Technical aptitude and financial understanding Leadership skills managing teams and projects Employees must: Understand emergency procedures Read safety signs and warnings Communicate effectively in emergencies Nidec Drives: What we do?
