As an experienced and solution-oriented Lead Software Engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: working with our product teams to provide timely, effective and performant solutions; contributing to the design of scalable data solutions, including the development of automated pipelines; implementing and/or maintaining database systems to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our application suite; understand and define business data requirements and identify data needs and data sources to create scalable data architecture and support enhancements, new product and implementation. You will be a leader, coaching, mentoring, and training team members, driving both employee and team development and growth. Key Responsibility Write, build and deploy code Analyze business application requirements, identify concerns and develop action plans Be part of an Agile team, leading the development team, using company’s latest software development life-cycle, working closely with team members from Romania and US Leverage our Cloud infrastructure (AWS) in order to design solutions that make the best of it Maintains existing legacy applications Track down and resolve bugs in any OPIS code base Adhere to best practice development standards (such as continuous integration and deployment) You Have: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related technical field 6 years hands-on software development experience Strong knowledge of OOP principles Experience with Node.js/React/GraphQL Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Next.js/Emotion/Artifactory knowledge of C# and Microsoft .Net framework Updated July. 2025 Good understanding of a relational database engine - SQL Server (or PostgreSQL) Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Dyanomdb, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.) Comfortable with managing AWS assets, preferably with Terraform and/or YAML pipelines.
