Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Top-Tier Litigation Firm | Downtown Los Angeles Full-Time |Remote About the Role A premier Los Angeles-based litigation firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience to join its growing legal team. This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level attorney to engage in diverse and complex litigation, with exposure to high-profile cases across several sectors. While direct experience in security industry defense, rideshare liability, automobile accidents, or premises liability is preferred, it is not required. The firm is open to attorneys with a broad civil litigation background who are eager to work on a variety of matters and develop subject matter expertise. Types of Cases You’ll Work On · Premises Liability · Employment Litigation · Security Industry Defense · Insurance Coverage · Commercial Litigation · Rideshare & Transportation Defense Key Responsibilities · Handle cases from pre-litigation through settlement or trial · Draft pleadings, complaints, arbitration demands, and responsive documents · Propound and respond to discovery · Analyze and summarize medical and legal records · Take and defend depositions · Conduct legal research and write supporting memoranda · Argue motions and oppositions in court · Collaborate with partners and clients to advance case strategy Qualifications · 3–5 years of experience in civil litigation · Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills · Proficient in deposition and motion practice · Familiarity with court procedures and filing deadline
