Litigation Attorney Sr. Associate

Job Description Job Description The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper seeks a Sr. Associate with at least 5 years of insurance defense experience. Must have experience litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling extensive personal injury claims, including automobile claims, traumatic brain injuries, significant injuries to property or business, and wrongful death claims. Trial experience is strongly desired . Your Day-to-Day: Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment Requirements 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience required Trial experience strongly preferred Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing required Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy Client-Centric Approach: Our clients are our compass—your unwavering commitment to exceptional client service Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style Benefits The KD difference: We offer competitive pay, top-tier medical insurance, 401(k) with matching, and much more.
