Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Psychiatric Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/31/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel 11233419 The Inpatient Childrens Unit provides safe, secure behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents ages 5 to 17 that require acute inpatient level of care. Unit Size/Beds: 26 Expected Ratios: Days (4 RNs, 1:6-7), Eves (4RNs 1:6-7), Nights (1 RN 1:26) Cases seen: Mood disorders, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorders, Suicidal ideation, Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADD, ADHD) Years of Exp preferred: Minimum 1 year recent psychiatric experience with child-adolescent population preferred Certifications required: CPI, BLS (AHA) CPR (hospital willing to provide on-site training) CT RN license required, Bachelors degree preferred/Associates degree accepted EPIC experience preferred 40 hours/week, 5 8 hour shifts (3p-11:30p), EOW, rotating holiday requirements, must be willing to float to adult unit to support facility as needed 11233419 The Inpatient Childrens Unit provides safe, secure behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents ages 5 to 17 that require acute inpatient level of care.
