Job Description

Summary: ClearanceJobs is assisting our client in filling an FPGA Developer position to support the development of a National Security Information System. Work is performed ON-SITE and is available in Arlington, VA, Annapolis Junction, MD or Denver, CO with an expected duration of 3 – 5 years. This position requires TS/SCI clearance, and the expected duration is 3 – 5 years. This direct hire opportunity with our client offering a salary and comprehensive benefits package requires TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Register Transfer Level programming, SysVerilog, Xilinx, and Double Data Rate (DDR) interfaces. Responsibilities: • Design and implement Register Transfer Level (RTL) for high-speed networking applications, • Develop custom IP cores, integrate third-party IP • Ensure timing closure across complex designs. • Working closely with hardware and software engineers in a classified environment • Oversee FPGA implementation and optimization while supporting design verification and debug efforts. Required Education, Experience and Skills: • Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering, • 7 years of FPGA development experience, • Proficiency in System Verilog and RTL programming • Extensive experience with Xilinx/Intel FPGA design tools and high-speed interfaces (DDR). Desired: • Experience with high assurance development and/or verification and validation for Intelligence Community • Network security applications, networking protocols and standards, scripting languages (Python, PERL, Tcl), • Familiarity with hardware security requirements.
