Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine (Locum Tenens) Location: Macomb, Illinois Facility Type: Emergency Department Start Date: As soon as credentialed and interview completed Shifts: 12-hour shifts (9a–9p; 9p–9a) | Must be available for both days and nights Shift Requirements: 10–12 shifts per month minimum Overview: Join a dedicated Emergency Department team in Macomb, IL as a Locum Nurse Practitioner. This is a 24/7 ED coverage position in a 10-bed facility with an annual volume of 15,000 patients. Clinicians must be prepared for fast-paced, independent work and possess strong clinical decision-making skills. Key Details: ED Beds: 10 ED Volume: 15,000 annually Admission Rate: 13% Patient Load: ~40–42 patients per 24 hours (~2 per hour) Trauma Designation: Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Required Procedure: Intubation EMR: Cerner Subspecialty Backup: ENT, Pediatrics, GI, Ophthalmology, Surgery
