Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Neonatal in Gastonia, NC

Position Description We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well-established, 16-bed Level III NICU practice at CaroMont Regional Medical Center , located in the Charlotte suburb of Gastonia, NC. This is an ideal NNP opportunity at an award-winning hospital that has been recognized as one of Thomson Reuters’ Top 100 Hospitals . Highlights: CaroMont Health is expanding in 2024 with a new hospital in Belmont, NC , featuring a Labor & Delivery service and Level I Newborn Nursery. Our CaroMont NICU was featured in the Wall Street Journal as a Luxury Birthplace , with state-of-the-art architectural design for single-room NICU and mother-baby care. Collaborative team of 2 neonatologists and 5–6 NNPs , serving Gaston and surrounding counties. NICU averages 320 admissions & 1,900 births annually , with a daily census of ~10. NNPs provide care in the 16-suite, Level III NICU , and assist with newborn nursery coverage . Coverage Model: 20 hours/day of NNP shift coverage , in collaboration with neonatologists (in-house days, backup call at night).
