Pay Information $2,614 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Radiology CWR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care facility License: State Professional Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: ASN Description: A Registered Nurse involves the delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care. The role focuses on providing and ensuring safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care. Daily responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models. Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. Performs age and disease-specific assessments independently in a systematic manner focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status. Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients. Identifies variables in patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The position may involve occasional on-call duties.
