TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110! Pay Information $2,300 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Experience in accessing ports, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Ability to manage pre/post hemodialysis and care for ventilated patients. Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and heparin protocols. Knowledge in managing cardiac drips without titration and substance withdrawal. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical/surgical/telemetry care. The nurse will work in a transitional care area managing patients awaiting hospital admission. Responsibilities include starting IVs, peripheral line care, and phlebotomy. The nurse will assist with feeding tube care and IV insulin protocols. Central line management and blood product administration will also be part of the job. The nurse will provide care for patients experiencing ortho trauma and require isolation precautions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential for patient management. This role will involve handling cardiac telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be able to float within the service line as needed.
