TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Antepartum RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122! Pay Information $2,012 per week About The Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Antepartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active compact license or applicable state license required Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP (Required), ACLS (Preferred) Must-Have: Experience with high-risk antepartum care Description: Candidates are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated from any other facility for at least 3 months. First time travelers are welcome if they have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience or no experience with C-Sections will be screened out. Screener will require intermediate AWHONN approval. Candidates must be able to float to the postpartum unit. Care will involve high-risk antepartum patients ranging from 6 weeks to 41 weeks, including those with PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy. Care for fetal demise or loss of patients both antepartum and postpartum, as well as postpartum mothers with babies in NICU, is required. Support of amnio or sterile spec exam at the bedside is necessary. Candidates will work with PCA Pumps, maintain central lines (CVC/PICC), and administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate. Candidates must assist with sterile speculum exams, including assessment of effacement, dilation, station, and presentation. Candidates will circulate for C-sections. Candidates should be prepared for a high-risk antepartum work setting. Transportation must be reliable. Candidates must be aware of their commute distance if local. Candidates should secure their housing before accepting any offers. All sensitive onboarding items must be completed promptly.
