TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110! Pay Information $2,130 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required, Chemotherapy certification preferred Must-Have: - Pass Relias EKG exam - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: This position involves working in a BMT oncology unit. It requires a nurse to manage a patient ratio of 4:1 on all shifts. The average daily census is 30 patients. Every other weekend availability is required. Floating within the service line is expected. Responsibilities include administering auto stem cell transplants and chemotherapy. BCLS certification is mandatory, while chemotherapy certification is preferred. A minimum of one year of general medical/surgical experience is required, with an openness to training in oncology and chemotherapy patient care. Special equipment used in the unit may include telemetry devices. The unit supports diverse interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in the job description. No local candidates within a specified radius will be accepted.
