Pay Information $2,279 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Specialty/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: Current license in the respective field Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with telemetry - Ability to access ports and manage central lines - Knowledge of wound care and management - Competence in administering blood products - Understanding of cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring Description: The role requires a registered nurse specializing in Medical/Specialty and Telemetry. The nurse will work on a night shift from 18:45 to 07:15. The position has a patient ratio of 1:5. The clinician will be expected to monitor patients with various conditions, including those recovering from surgery. The unit handles post-cath patients and other medical specialties. Regular floating between departments may be required. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 8 shifts within a 6-week schedule. The facility provides additional interdisciplinary support, including IV teams and respiratory services. Candidates should have experience in managing patients with dysrhythmias. The position may involve charge nurse responsibilities as needed. The nurse must complete relevant modules before starting. References from the past year will be required as part of the application process. Compliance with drug screening is mandatory.
