Lifting Supervisor

DCT Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Lifting Supervisor to join an important project at Shotton Mill in Deeside. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who have a strong background in supervising lifting operations within industrial or construction environments. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all lifting operations on site, ensuring safety and efficiency Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site management to plan lifts effectively Conduct daily inspections and risk assessments of lifting equipment and methods Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company policies Maintain accurate records and documentation related to lifting activities Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 1 years experience working as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role Possession of a valid CSCS Card or recognised Safety Passport Comprehensive understanding of health & safety practices specific to lifting operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and communicate effectively Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines Additional Information: This role is Monday to Friday, 07:00 18:00, with a 1-hour unpaid break Rate: £30 per hour, paid via CIS Candidates must have their own accommodation as this is not provided, and accommodation costs will not be covered The role is ideal for someone local to the area or willing to commute Please send your CV to or contact us directly on 07795 602657 for more information.
