Walkers Deli & Sausage Co. is looking for a Senior Process Development Technologist to lead customer-focused projects from concept to launch, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Project Management: Ability to lead concept-to-launch projects, manage customer critical paths, and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, HACCP principles, and allergen controls within chilled food environments. Leadership & Coaching: Proven experience in managing and developing a team, with strong people management and mentoring capabilities. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal departments and external stakeholders. Problem Solving & Initiative: Skilled in identifying process improvement opportunities and taking ownership of actions to drive continuous improvement. As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: - Experience in chilled food manufacturing (minimum 12 months), ideally within process or NPD. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of HACCP and allergen controls. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Degree or HND in Food Science (desirable).
