Early Intervention Network is an exciting new company aiming to touch families' lives by providing young learners with autism and other developmental delays the help they need. We are operating in Stamford, Lincolnshire and nearby surrounding areas. We are currently looking for Behaviour Therapists. About the Role Job Description: Executing Applied Behaviour Analysis-Verbal Behaviour (ABA-VB) therapy in clients' homes. Setting up the environment that's conducive to the therapy at the beginning of each session, and tidying it away as the session ends. Remaining compliant with Safeguarding Laws in the UK. Video documentation of each session with strict adherence to agreements per client and/or educational institutions' stipulations. Debriefing children's parents at the end of every session, verbally, and through a written report. Attending training and meetings with the program supervisor and company director as required. Consistent reporting to the direct supervisor as it pertains to the learner's progress. Record/journal keeping Data management, both video and written, and remaining compliant with the UK-GDPR Audio transcriptions (should the need arise) Writing reports Creation of therapy tools/materials as needed with reference to the criteria protocol. Applied Behaviour Analysis is the method of choice that we use, particularly Verbal Behaviour (ABA-VB), popularised by Dr James W Partington, Ph.D., BCBA-D. Verbal Behaviour focuses on functional language, teaching learners how to talk or communicate when it matters. It prides itself on making learners learn while having fun by using positive reinforcement. Aside from language skills, ABA-VB can also teach learners Self-Help Skills, Social Skills, following instructions and a lot more. Whatever the learner needs, we can teach it. Requirements Successful candidates possess the following characteristics: Agile Excellent communication skills Passionate Patient Adaptable Professional Detail-oriented Organised Trainable Great with children Eligible to be registered for an Enhanced DBS Certificate An undergraduate or postgraduate degree holder in the following fields: Psychology, Education, Sociology Proficiency with document processing software and Google's work ecosystem.
