The Role As a Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor, you will: Support the Preconstruction Commercial Manager from project viability through to contract award. Ensure proposals are commercially robust and aligned with client requirements while maximising profitability. Manage commercial elements of projects during the preconstruction phase, including payments, cost reporting and tender submissions. Develop and manage supply chain relationships, ensuring quality performance and value. Take an active role in value engineering, ensuring designs and specifications align with budgets and client needs. Support Directors in securing new business opportunities and managing multiple bids/projects at once. Provide accurate turnover, profit and programme projections to inform business targets. About You We’re looking for someone with: Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the construction sector. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and risks. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. A proactive approach, able to problem-solve and add value at every stage. The ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
