Now, they're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team and take full ownership of the finance operations within the business. Main Responsibilities Oversee the company's finance function, including management accounts, cashflow, leases for equipment, and purchase ledger. Prepare and manage the company's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring smooth and accurate reporting. Develop and manage financial forecasts and budgets, providing insightful analysis to senior management. Collaborate with the management team to support decision-making and implement financial strategies. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, liaising with third-party auditors for statutory accounts and audits. Review and optimise financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and support business growth. Monitor cashflow, working capital, and capital expenditures, providing guidance on financial performance. Assist in the management of the company's tax and VAT obligations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Required Ideally, experience in the agricultural or fresh produce industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's requirements. Proven experience in a similar finance role, including management accounts, cashflow management, and financial reporting. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function in a busy, fast paced environment. A proactive, solutions-focused attitude, with the ability to drive improvements and implement new ideas. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
