Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer. The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring every commercial opportunity is supported technically, commercially, and customer-wise. This role involves supporting segment and regional drive centers on commercial products and support management, providing day-to-day support for commercial activities to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience. It acts as a bridge between product management, engineering, and regional drive centers to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption. Key responsibilities include: Commercial product support management Quotation and proposal management Segment/regional support bid coordination Margin and profitability analysis Order management and fulfillment Forecasting and pipeline support Product and application engineering support Commercial enablement and training Product lifecycle and feedback integration Cross-functional collaboration Performance monitoring and continuous improvement Customer advocacy and relationship building Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel, potentially increasing as needed, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings. Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent in automation; proven experience in servo motor product management; business development in servo motors, gear, and motion control; strong interpersonal, technical, and financial skills; leadership capabilities managing cross-functional teams and projects.
