BI Developer (SAS & Snowflake Migration)

We’re currently looking for a BI Developer to join a strategic international data migration project in collaboration with one of our key clients in the banking sector . What You’ll Be Doing You’ll take part in a high-impact initiative to migrate an existing SAS-based ecosystem into a modern data architecture using Snowflake and SQL . The migration will happen simultaneously across Spain, Portugal, and France , involving dedicated teams starting from scratch . This migration involves SAS scripts that support the bank's core business areas, including Risk, Marketing, Finance , and Customer Management . These scripts will be progressively rewritten, validated, and optimized in the new Snowflake platform. Your Main Responsibilities Translate and replicate SAS Guide logic into SQL/Snowflake Support the creation of views, procedures , and other database objects in Snowflake Validate and compare outputs between SAS and Snowflake Collaborate closely with internal business analysts across departments Troubleshoot technical issues and clarify functional doubts during migration Promote and apply best development practices in the new Snowflake environment ✅ What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a BI Developer Strong knowledge of SAS and SQL (Snowflake preferred) Experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes Familiarity with Power BI is a plus Background in banking or financial services is highly desirable Fluency in English (spoken and written) Spanish skills are a strong plus ️ Tech Environment SAS / SAS Guide Snowflake SQL Power BI Location & Setup Hybrid model: 2x/week onsite at Madrid Ready to take the challenge?
