Recognized as Logista's subsidiary expert in maritime transport, El Mosca transports dry and temperature-controlled goods, offering customized solutions ranging from groupage to full loads, always ensuring maximum efficiency and quality in each operation. The Planning Manager for the fleet will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the use of the land transport fleet, ensuring on-time deliveries, operational efficiency, and cost control. The main objective will be to ensure that transport resources are allocated in the most efficient way, anticipating needs and proactively resolving issues. Functions and responsibilities: Design and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly fleet utilization plans, ensuring balance between demand and capacity. Coordinate the assignment of vehicles and drivers according to load, routes, and operational priorities. Monitor fleet condition and coordinate with maintenance to minimise downtime. Analyse operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for route, time, and cost optimization. Prepare reports and dashboards using Power BI for management and other departments. Collaborate with traffic, logistics, operations, and customer teams to align planning with demand. Manage incidents and schedule changes, prioritizing service continuity and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, road safety, and driving/rest time rules. Requirements -Academic background: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or Vocational Training in Transport and Logistics. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and managing land transport fleets. -Technical skills: Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and report creation. Solid knowledge of transport management systems (TMS) and route planning. - Personal skills: - Dynamic profile with adaptability to changing environments. - Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement. - Ability to make quick decisions under pressure. - Excellent communication and cross-department coordination skills. - Languages: Intermediate/advanced English is desirable.
