Job 1581425: Power Electronics Engineer with Security Clearance

Must be able to work in the US (US Citizen) Responsibilities: • Performs design and development of power converters incorporating modern topologies to achieve high performance at reasonable cost. • Program digital signal processors (TI C2000 Delfino series MCU) for power converter control, including control for bidirectional converters. • Work includes the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuits for use within electronics and/or aerospace equipment, devices, and systems. Qualifications: • BSEE, or related technical bachelor’s degree • At least 5 years industry experience electronics power conversion product design and manufacturing • Design high reliability, high power AC-DC & DC-DC power converters and power sub-systems for applications including radar, directed energy, and military more electric vehicles. Analog circuit and digital design for power conversion products • Experience with design of bi-directional power converters using digital design / code development for digital signal processor preferred. Desired: • High power and vehicle electrification exp nice to have • Advanced degree (MSEE / PhD) in power electronics with relevant published research ON-SITE, M-F, 9-80 Schedule (40 hours week), Contract to DIRECT
