Structure Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description- • Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.). • Responsible for establishing structural specifications and performing structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure. • Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired. • Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. • Experience using Altair Hyper Mesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired. • Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired. Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems. • Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models. SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO START Required Minimum skills- 1. Airframe primary structure layout and sizing 2. Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures 3. NASTRAN and PATRAN or Hyper Mesh Preferred- 1. Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT a plus
