Senior VTC Engineer Location: Ft. Position Overview GoldenTech is seeking a Senior VTC Engineer with expert-level knowledge of video teleconferencing (VTC) and audiovisual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will be Cisco CCNA certified and experienced in the design, integration, and support of enterprise-level VTC systems. This position will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all video conferencing operations at Ft. Bragg, NC, and will lead a team supporting high-visibility, mission-critical communications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead daily VTC team briefings and oversee operations readiness. Serve as SME for VTC design, integration, and support of conference rooms and AV environments. Provide technical leadership and guidance for network and VTC troubleshooting (ISDN, PRI, SIP, H.323). Review and evaluate system configurations and analyze ACS topology using construction drawings and site diagrams. Support configuration and file management documentation across the VTC system lifecycle. Perform Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) tasks including test plan reviews and documentation validation. Oversee implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of VTC systems including Cisco Expressway, CUCM, and TMS. Mentor and manage a team of VTC technicians across enterprise-level systems. Communicate with Project Manager (PM) and Assistant PM regarding mission updates and escalations. Identify and recommend training needs for team growth and system support enhancement. Provide after-hours or weekend support as required for mission continuity. Prepare reports on VTC emerging technologies, performance assessments, and system improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience) 5 years of VTC engineering experience, including Cisco Expressway, CUCM, TMS 5 years of management and supervisory experience over enterprise-level VTC operations Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Cisco-level CCNP networking experience AMX Programmer Certification (Networked AV) CompTIA Security CE Expert knowledge of SIP and H.323 protocols Ability to analyze technical data and produce support documentation, diagrams, and operational guides Working knowledge of GVS training requirements per DISA standards Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to brief leadership U.S. Citizen with active Secret Clearance Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs and work in physically demanding environments Benefits & Perks GoldenTech offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off and 11 federal holidays Life and AD&D insurance
