Construction Accounting/HR Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a full-time Accounting/HR Assistant who will be responsible for providing functional support to the Controller. Key Functions and Responsibilities - Review, track and distribute lien releases and NTO’s - Accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and AIA draws - Receive and review vendor invoices - Obtain required certificates of insurance - Collect employee receipts and reconcile to monthly statements - Assist with year-end closing activities - Work directly with Project Managers to process monthly pay applications - Setup and maintain project files - New employee onboarding - Reception duties, receive visitors, packages, answer telephone - Office Supply Orders Education and Experience - AA or AS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred - Experience in the Construction Industry Required Skills - The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, subcontractors and suppliers - Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience with ComputerEase is a plus Company Description Aggressive management, pride in workmanship, personalized service and quality assurance have enabled the company to achieve wide recognition for project performance.
