Job Description Job Description Custom Cabinet Assembler Summary of Position: Milestone Cabinetry is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Assembler to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling custom cabinets, reading technical drawings, and working with woodworking tools and machinery. This role requires precision, quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines. Key Responsibilities Assemble custom cabinetry according to provided blueprints, shop drawings, or specifications. Operate woodworking tools and equipment safely (table saw, routers, drills, etc.). Inspect and verify dimensions, alignment, and quality of assembled pieces. Perform adjustments, repairs, or modifications as needed to ensure a perfect fit and finish. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Handle materials with care to prevent damage. Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of orders. Qualifications Proven experience as a cabinet assembler, carpenter, or similar woodworking role. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials. Contract Details Status: Independent Contractor (1099) – not an employee. Compensation: $9.00 per completed cabinet.
