Job Description Job Description Luther Lanard is a growing franchise law firm with an open position for an entry-level attorney with at least 1 year of experience. The person in the role will have the opportunity to learn both the transactional and dispute side of franchise law. The ideal candidate will be responsive, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious with strong interpersonal skills. This role offers significant client interaction, providing you with the opportunity to build relationships, understand client needs, and deliver customized legal solutions. Target 1700-hour year (100 hours, which are creditable non-billable hours) with plenty of room for growth and bonuses based on performance. Attorneys also receive origination credit. Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 yearly Responsibilities: Independently handle transactional and pre-lawsuit dispute matters from start to finish Identify claims and help clients navigate their options Draft demand letters and settlement agreements Effectively confer with franchisors and opposing counsel Set and manage client expectations Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Good standing with the California Bar Association History of being deadline-driven and organized Display excellent written and verbal communication skills Utilize independent problem-solving skills About Company At Luther Lanard, we are passionate about helping franchisees.
