Retail Store Manager - WATERTOWN Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead our store team in delivering exceptional service and creating meaningful experiences. Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and work alongside your team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times. - Foster a collaborative environment where team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with our purpose. - Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and recognition to help your team grow professionally and personally. - Partner with the General Manager to support overall store leadership, strategy, and performance. Product Knowledge & Operational Excellence - Serve as the store expert in product knowledge, staying up to date on the latest footwear and apparel offerings, technologies, and customer solutions. - Educate your team on proper shoe fitting techniques to ensure every customer receives personalized comfort and support. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company operations, policies, and procedures, and ensure these are executed consistently throughout the store. - Continuously train and empower staff to deliver best-in-class customer experiences through informed, thoughtful recommendations. Store Operations - Manage your section of the store with pride, ensuring it is clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times. - Ensure product is well-merchandised with the customer in mind, reflecting thoughtful presentation and strategic placement. - Maintain inventory accuracy by following company standards and regularly reviewing stock levels. - Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage and smooth daily operations. Qualifications - 3 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in apparel or footwear. - Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams. - Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. - Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation & Schedule - Base salary range: $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. - Typical schedule includes 1-2 closing shifts per week. - Consistent weekday off to support work-life balance. - Alternating weekends to ensure fair and flexible scheduling. - Average workweek of approximately 41 hours.
