This role is ideal for nurses who excel in high-acuity environments and are committed to providing exceptional patient care during critical situations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Triage and assess patients with acute and emergent conditions. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Required Qualifications: Active RN license (Iowa or compact state). Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current). Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Credentialing & Compliance Requirements: Iowa SING Background Check – Must include both Criminal and Child Abuse portions. ➡️ No exceptions. All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start . ➡️ No instant or statewide searches accepted. Mandatory Reporter Certification – Required for both Child and Adult abuse. Drug Screening – Must be a 10-panel test , including opiates . Titers – Must be dated within the last 12 months for the following: MMR Hepatitis B Varicella TB
