Job Description Job Description Position Description: Rosenblad Design Group (RDG) a manufacturer of evaporation and crystallization systems, is seeking several Work Hands to join our production team. The individuals will participate in partial and full system and equipment fabrication. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a workshop environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: · Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position. · Operate forklifts, overhead crane, hand power tools, slings, grinders, plasma cutter, and other hand tools. · Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. · Ability to read and follow shop drawings, sketches, production drawings is a plus. · Comfortable welding at times above ground from a man lift. · Insuring that all material surfaces to be worked on are clean and free of dirt, oils, paint, slag and other contaminants. · Inspect and correct work produnct as necessary to meet product specifications. · Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors. · Monitor the processes to avoid warping, shrinking, distortion of work product. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing Walking Pulling and Pushing Carrying Grasping Reaching Stooping and Crouching Welding Color Determination Near Acuity Occasional lifting 50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires work in a manufacturing environment facility and occasionally at field locations for installations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in the shop environment. SAFETY: Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA safety guidelines. Wear the proper personal protective equipment and use safe work habits. Rosenblad has a zero alcohol and drug tolerance policy and all employees are randomly tested through the year. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED plus three years related work experience. Previous work history and employer references will be required. Schedule: Full Time / First Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm (M-F) –position will be located at our facility in Yulee, FL. At times longer work hours and potentially some weekend overtime might be required to meet project deadlines.
