Known for their quality, professionalism, and strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are now seeking to bring a motivated Trainee Building Services Manager on board to develop into a key member of their delivery team. The Opportunity This is a fantastic chance for someone with an HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Communications – or a qualified Electrician or Mechanical Engineer in the early stages of their career – to transition into a Building Services Management role. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning the ropes on large-scale projects and gaining the skills and knowledge to progress within the company. Key Responsibilities Support senior Building Services Managers in the delivery of M&E elements on construction projects Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is delivered to specification, on time, and on budget Review technical drawings, specifications, and schedules Monitor installation and commissioning of building services Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning discussions Maintain health & safety standards in line with company policies Provide regular progress updates and assist with documentation and reporting About You HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Communications OR qualified Electrician / Mechanical Engineer looking for a career change Strong interest in the construction/building services industry Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and develop new skills Full UK Driving Licence (essential) What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to £32K benefits Clear and structured career progression Mentorship from industry experts Exposure to major construction projects across Central Scotland Supportive and collaborative working environment Apply today to take your first step towards a rewarding career in Building Services Management.
