Project Manager Site-based across Scotland (travel & working away required) | Civil Engineering & Infrastructure | Permanent About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of delivering large-scale civil engineering projects. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest commercial and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working on complex infrastructure, and wants to be part of some of Scotland’s most challenging and rewarding projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of projects from inception through to completion. Manage programmes, budgets, resources, and subcontractors effectively. Ensure all works comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships. Drive performance to meet programme and budget targets. Mentor and manage site teams, fostering a positive safety culture. Oversee risk management and change control, reporting progress to senior management. What You’ll Bring Proven track record managing heavy civils projects (£5m). Minimum 10 years’ civil engineering experience, with several years in project management. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in planning, programming, and managing site activities. HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications. Desirable Experience in renewable energy, marine, or water infrastructure. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status. Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera.
