About the Role We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join a reputable legal firm in Scotland. This is a fully office-based role where you will play an essential part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy practice. You’ll be the kind of person who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys variety in their workload, and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support across the office, including document preparation, filing, scanning, and archiving. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including post, couriers, and email management. Maintain accurate records and databases in line with firm policies. Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner. Support fee earners and wider teams with ad-hoc administrative tasks. Ensure the smooth running of office supplies, stationery, and equipment. Contribute to maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment. Requirements At least 1 year’s office-based experience in a professional setting (legal, financial, property, accountancy, or similar). Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively. A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues. What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to £26,000.
