Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Short-Term Duties: Troubleshooting on existing faulty analysers and bad actors Provide experienced input into calibrations, performance testing, maintenance; Long-Term Contributions: Identification of opportunities for improvements Assist with the development of a maintenance and replacement strategy for the department Technical & Strategic Tasks: Drafting of documentation (i.e. Scope of Services) documentation for plant modifications, upgrading / replacement or expansions Experienced input on samplers, sample conditioning, sample transfer, analyser technologies and where applicable, sample discharge / return Liaising with Analyser OMEs in terms of troubleshooting, replacement strategies etc. Training & Development: On the job training and development of department Artisans Requirements: Relevant technical qualification (e.g. National Diploma or Trade Test in Instrumentation/Process Control) Minimum 58 years experience in analyser systems within the petrochemical or related industry Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in analyser and sampling systems Proven experience in documentation, strategic input, and technical liaison
