Bottle Screen Printing Machine Operator

Reporting to: Manager Type: Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: Operate the screen-printing machine in accordance with SOP and Production Schedule Screen printing machine setup and operation - stencil preparation, ink mixing and screen alignment, conduct test prints, adjust machine settings Quality control Maintenance and troubleshooting of machine malfunctions and routine machine maintenance Inventory management for ink, bottles, labels, cleaning materials, chemicals Safety and compliance - PPE, workspace cleanliness, safety hazards Waste management Sectors: Engineering / Technical / Production / Manufacturing / Motor, Printing Functions: Machine Operator, Print & Signage Machine Operator Qualification Types: National Certificate Skills: Excellent hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to stand for extended periods, Capacity to lift items up to 25kg, Manual dexterity for handling small components, Excellent eyesight, Mandatory Requirements Minimum of 1 year screen printing experience onto bottles and experienced in bottle printing, including setting bottle screen printing machine, setting screens and running machines to produce printed bottles Knowledge of screen-printing processes, inks and substrates, Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills, Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines, Effective communication, Able to follow precise instructions
