Quote from Hiring Manager This role is critical to lead our business in the Off trade channel, with direct responsibility for managing all national customers under central agreements. The role involves developing business in discounters and premium retailers, as well as leading Amazon. The key responsibility as a team member is to create the strategy, in alignment with the Head of Off trade, and to execute it effectively in the market. This is an individual contributor role, with a strong relationship with the Off trade team to cascade national agreements and support the field team in maximizing performance. Meaningful Work From Day One The Off trade National Account Manager has a national scope, working with Italian national players and entrusted e-commerce customers. Your first key task is to shape the strategy for L1 negotiations with national players, aligned with the Off trade commercial policy. Additionally, you will build productive business relationships, develop joint business plans, manage accounts, create promotional calendars, and negotiate terms. This role requires strong leadership, management, negotiation skills, an in-depth understanding of the off-trade universe, and financial acumen. Experience in the spirits industry is a plus. You will report to the Head of Off trade and E-commerce and collaborate with the team to ensure flawless execution. What You Can Expect Develop and implement sales strategies to boost sell-in and sell-out performance. Execute pricing and promotion initiatives aligned with channel objectives. Define sales strategies with assigned customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and collaboration to maximize mutual sales and profits. Engage in strategic joint business initiatives and multi-year planning. Lead annual negotiations of trade terms, securing mutually beneficial agreements. Communicate effectively with key decision-makers and act as a value-adding partner. Participate in regional customer management groups. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats. Provide strategic input and co-create business strategies. Manage customer P&Ls, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate across departments to optimize results. Use revenue management tools and analyze promotional activities for ROI and strategic value. Identify and define new business opportunities. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analyses. Communicate results, efficiencies, and best practices to senior management. Manage sales budgets, ensuring resource efficiency. Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations, minimizing legal risks. What You Bring to the Table At least 5 years of sales experience as a Senior KAM or NAM. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Proven success in driving sales growth. Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships. Deep knowledge of the off-trade market; experience in spirits industry is a plus.
