Omron is seeking to hire a Robotics Field Application Engineer, preferably residing in the Padova or Vicenza area, covering Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Trentino Alto Adige regions. Responsibilities Analyze client requirements for robotic applications. Propose optimal robotic solution architectures tailored to client demands. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of robotics, production line integration, and related technologies such as controllers, vision systems, and safety devices. Client Support and Demonstrations Conduct proof-of-concept tests to showcase functionalities. Provide technical support to clients and local sales teams, primarily in pre-sales, with post-sales support as needed, collaborating with Service Engineers. Serve as the local technical contact for clients and system integrators. Update and create new demonstrations for pre-sales activities. Field Work and Reporting Engage directly with customers in the field. Prepare feasibility reports on proposed applications and proof-of-concept tests. Training and Simulation Prepare and deliver technical training to clients. Simulate mobile robot applications and generate reports. Educational and Experience Requirements High school diploma or ITS in robotics or mechatronics. 2-3 years of relevant experience in automation and robotics environments. Deep knowledge of robotics technologies and applications. Experience working in multicultural environments. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. English proficiency at least B1 level.
