We’re looking for a full-time onsite Security & Financial Crimes Officer at our Oconomowoc headquarters who shares our passion for doing the right thing, protecting what matters most, and working together to create a safe, trusted environment for all. This role oversees Bank Five Nine’s security programs, investigative activities, and serves as the primary owner of Verafin, driving how we use and improve the platform to strengthen our security posture.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and optimize Verafin use to ensure alerts, workflows, and reporting drive the right results.

  • Oversee security investigations and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Support branch and customer security needs, including high-risk or complex situations.

  • Deliver employee security training, branch audits, and Board reporting.

  • Partner with leadership, regulators, and law enforcement as needed.

Must-Haves

  • Deep Verafin experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Minimum 5 years in security, investigations, or risk-related roles within a financial institution or similar industry.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with high integrity and discretion.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience managing or leading staff, projects, or investigative processes.

  • Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements related to security.

  • Strong ability to balance multiple priorities and follow through on complex issues.
