Operating in a dynamic, retail-facing environment, they're scaling their data governance capability and looking for a senior leader to take charge of roadmap, risk, and reporting. You'll join a lean, collaborative data team with executive backing - and the space to make a real impact, quickly. THE ROLE: As Head of Data Governance, you'll lead strategy, structure, and execution across the data governance landscape. From high-level roadmap development to hands-on control testing, you'll drive both strategic planning and day-to-day delivery. Key responsibilities include: Define and deliver the data governance roadmap across the business Lead and develop a cross-functional data governance team Present risk exposure and mitigation strategies to the executive team Drive and own gap analysis across the organisation's governance framework Support and implement control testing across governance processes YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: A successful Head of Data Governance will bring: Experience in data governance or enterprise data leadership Experience developing and implementing governance strategy and roadmaps Proven leadership capability, including team management and development Strong communication skills - comfortable engaging at C-suite level Experience with control testing and risk-based governance THE BENEFITS: You'll receive a salary of up to £80,000 depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to lead a core business function.
